Handcancel production began in the waning years of last century with a sampler and an 8-track, recording underground tapes with Brockton Massachusetts legend Jimmy "Luxury" Kelleher. In 1999 Handcancel came alive with his solo debut instrumental beat tape "Musica Mass Disruption", which received college radio play (thanks Magnus!) and opened more doors production-wise. The work continued for underground artists from Massachusetts- Buttaskotch and Special Forcez (Whatup Jay W), The Rhyminal, and some Rock engineering with Jeffrey Simmons and Jon Supermurray & The Goodbyes. In 2002 Handcancel & DJ D-Money produced and engineered punk-rap MC Cathy Cathodic's debut CD "The Cathy Cathodic EP", which received positive reviews and sold like hotcakes at her live shows.
